ABOUT THE GAME
PITCH LINE
Embark on an epic sci-fi adventure in an action-packed Picross-Battler.
You read that right:
Solve nonograms, use module abilities, and hack your way to save your crew from a rogue computer program that has taken over your ship!
DESCRIPTION
In GRIDHACK, hacking = solving nonograms, but this is not your standard picross-style game.
GRIDHACK's picross-battle system adds a completely new layer to traditional nonograms.
Use the abilities of your NOVATOOL to crack the firewall and hack computer terminals, door locks, datapads, drones, etc.
Use this to find your way through the ship, help your crewmates and figure out the ROGUE PROGRAMs' mysterious end goal, before it blows the Captain into space!
FEATURES
NEW TWIST ON PICROSS:
-
The PICROSS BATTLE SYSTEM will have you solve nonograms faster, smarter, and more tactical
-
Stay alive while fighting the firewall
-
Use module abilities to defend, attack or manipulate the grid
-
Level up to face tougher challenges
ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
I'm Philip, a Hobby Game Dev based in Vancouver, Canada.
By day, I work on the VFX side of movies like Sonic The Hedgehog and Spider-Man: No Way Home. In my free time, I've started to pursue making games in Unity and released my first game,
CHESTNUT GROVE in August 2020, using it to process the COVID-19 lockdown and the loss of my day job.
I'm now working on GRIDHACK, a game that turns the traditional Picross puzzle into a battle system for an exciting Sci-Fi adventure, where you try to catch a rogue AI.
